Chandigarh: Punjab’s political landscape witnessed a major upheaval on Monday after Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and former Transport Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar was arrested in connection with the alleged abetment of suicide of a senior government official. Amritsar Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar confirmed that Bhullar was arrested from Mandi Gobindgarh. Before his arrest, Bhullar posted on social media claiming he was surrendering voluntarily and expressing faith in the legal system.
