NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Oppo has launched yet another A series smartphone in China. The company has launched the Oppo A32, which is said to be the rebranded version of Oppo A53 2020. The smartphone comes with a punch-hole display and packs a 16MP front camera for selfies.
The Oppo A32 comes with a starting price tag of 1199 yuan (Rs 12,880). The smartphone comes in Mint Green, Fantasy Blue, and Glass Black colour options. The device will go on sale starting September 15 in the country.

The Oppo A32 sports a 6.5-inch HD+ display 720×1600 pixel resolution. The display offers 90Hz refresh rate and is protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The smartphone comes with dual SIM functionality and runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own ColorOS 7.
Oppo A32 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor with Adreno 610 GPU. Oppo A32 packs 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage. Users can further expand the storage up to 256GB by installing a microSD card.
Oppo A32 sports a triple rear camera setup with 13MP main sensor with f/2.2 aperture, LED flash, 2MP depth sensor, and 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to a 16MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone comes equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The device is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
Recently, it was reported that Oppo is planning to build its own short video platform just like TikTok. While details about the platform are still scarce, the world’s fifth-largest smartphone vendor may launch the service later this year, a top executive of the company told the South China Morning Post.
