Poco will unveil its new smartphone series in India on July 7. The company will launch the Poco M2 Pro phone via an online event at 12 pm. Ahead of the launch, the company has revealed some of the features that will come with the upcoming phone. These include 33watt fast charge support and quad-camera setup on the back.
Poco M2 Pro is already listed on Walmart-owned online platform Flipkart. The e-tailer has created a separate webpage of the yet-to-be-launched phone. As per the Flipkart page, the phone could be seen sporting a quad-camera design at the back. Unlike a vertically aligned rear camera setup, the phone is seen having a square-shaped camera setup at the back.
The page also reveals that the phone will come powered by a Qualcomm processor. However, it does not mention the name of the chipset which the device will run. Flipkart listing also confirms the 33watt fast charging on Poco M2 Pro.
Poco M2 Pro was recently spotted on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi certification websites. According to the Wi-Fi certification website, the smartphone is likely to run on MIUI 11 out of the box based on Android 10-based operating system. It is also expected that the Poco M2 Pro will feature a dual-band Wi-Fi for wireless connectivity. The handset’s Bluetooth SIG certification also suggests that Poco M2 Pro may come with Bluetooth version 5.0.
Rumours also suggest that Poco M2 Pro will come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 720 SoC. There are no details on the pricing of the smartphone yet.
