Samsung to launch Galaxy F series soon and it’s not affordable foldable phones

If you were expecting affordable foldable phones under the upcoming Galaxy F series then brace yourself for disappointment. Samsung has no plans to launch affordable foldable smartphones any time soon. At the same time it is going to soon launch new Galaxy F series phones that focus on the mid-range segment in India.
After the Galaxy M and A series, the new Galaxy F series will take on phones from Chinese brands in India in the Rs 20,000 market segment. The first phone in the Galaxy F series will arrive in India by the first week of October. As far as the specs are concerned, very little is known about them and will most likely offer big batteries and multiple cameras like the phones of Galaxy M series.
Like the Galaxy M series, the new F series will be mostly available online first and arriving at brick-and-mortar stores later.
Samsung will most likely continue to offer phones with Exynos processors under the F series, however, there will be some phones with Qualcomm Snapdragon processors as well.
Meanwhile, Samsung is hosting another Galaxy Unpacked event in September were it will announce the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition (FE). As per the report, the Galaxy S20 FE is said to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC for the 5G version of the model. The 4G model on the other hand is said to come powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 990 SoC.
The device is expected to feature a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display of FHD resolution and 407ppi and 120Hz refresh rate. The Galaxy S20 FE is said to house a triple camera sensor on the back comprising a 12MP main sensor (f/1.8 aperture), a 12MP wide-angle camera with 123-degree field of view (f/2.2 aperture) and lastly an 8MP sensor (f/2.0 aperture).
