The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has scheduled supplementary practical exams for Class 10 and 12 students from July 10 to 15, 2025, with theory exams to follow. Class 10 theory papers will run from July 15 to 22, while Class 12 students will face their single-day theory exam on July 15. CBSE issued detailed guidelines on July 2, urging examinees to contact their respective schools or exam centres by July 7, bringing along a copy of their mark sheet, admit card, and result slip.
Students are instructed to note their practical exam schedules and report punctually. School principals or centre superintendents must compile subject-wise attendance lists and coordinate with Regional Offices to appoint external examiners where required CBSE has also confirmed that regular students will appear for practicals at their own schools, while private candidates must report to the theory exam centres assigned to them.
Institutional Responsibilities & Prompt Evaluation
Schools are required to use answer books provided by CBSE Regional Offices and ensure all examiner entries are accurate. Importantly, practical marks must be uploaded to the CBSE portal on the same day the exam is held—once entered, changes will not be permitted. CBSE Regional Offices will oversee the smooth conduct of practicals at alternate venues if school labs lack the necessary infrastructure
