A large number of political leaders and social figures gathered at the residence of former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda to pay their respects to late Smt. Rajwati, wife of Shri Inder Singh Hooda, the elder brother of the former CM. The condolence meeting was marked by heartfelt tributes and a havan-puja ceremony held in memory of the departed soul, performed with full religious rites.
Among the dignitaries who offered condolences were Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan, Congress state president Chaudhary Udaybhan, and Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev.
Other prominent attendees included Union Ministers Rao Inderjit Singh and Sanjeev Balyan, former Union Ministers Anand Sharma, Ch. Birender Singh, and Raj Babbar, as well as MPs Kumari Selja, Randeep Surjewala, Naveen Jindal, Satpal Brahmachari, Jaiprakash, and Chandan Chauhan.
Senior political leaders across party lines such as Abhay Chautala, Baba Balaknath, Captain Ajay Yadav, Rakesh Tikait, Kanhaiya Kumar, and B. Srinivas were also present. State ministers Ranbir Gangwa and Arvind Sharma, several MLAs from both ruling and opposition parties, former MPs, and local dignitaries participated in offering their tributes.
The presence of such a diverse and large gathering reflected the wide respect and goodwill late Smt. Rajwati commanded across political and social circles.
